≫40-50s Vintage Occupied Japan Sailing Ship Metalwork Trinket Case Box Post-War Occupied Japan Vintage Antique Old Tool

Occupied Japan refers to "Japan under occupation" after World War II. From 1947, when private trade resumed, until 1952, when the San Francisco Peace Treaty came into effect, the GHQ (General Headquarters of the Allied Powers) ordered that exports from Japan be stamped with "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN."

Items exported mainly to North America included various goods such as pottery, toys, textiles, and cameras. The limited-edition items with the "OCCUPIED JAPAN" mark (called "OJ") have rarity value and are sought after by collectors.

This item is a lovely trinket case with an elegant raised sailing ship design.

The form, adorned with beautiful craftsmanship, gives an elegant impression.

※Items other than those listed for sale, such as the interior, small items, and clothing, are not included.

Condition
As this is an old item, there are some scratches, scuffs, and stains, but none of them significantly detract from the appearance. The overall condition is good, and I think it is an item that can still be used sufficiently. There are individual differences in perception, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned or nervous. Please purchase with the understanding that this is a vintage item from about 70-80 years ago.
