Engine Cold Air Intake

The more airflow a vehicles engine receives, the more power you will be able to generate. The Porsche 991 Turbo's redesigned engine bay makes improving upon the stock intake system quite difficult. However, Agency Power has designed and tested this new Cold Air Intake kit on their own Project Porsche 991 Turbo. The cold air intake kit retains the factory intake snorkel to deliver air flow direct to the twin cone air filters. The cone filters feature a high flow filtration design to stop more bad particles than the stock paper filter while keeping an extremely high efficiency. The filters feature front inlets along with its full cylindrical surface area to bring in more airflow than stock. The filters feature rubber end caps with the AP logo and Agency Power text. The filters are oil based and a light dusting of any Air Filter Recharger Kit can be used to clean the filter once every 5000 miles or as needed. Each filter comes with a intake tube that is powdercoated wrinkle black made from 6061 heat treated aluminum and TIG welded. The intake pipes feature a bracket to securely mount the cold air intake to the car. As road tested, the cold air intake kit gives the Turbo much quicker throttle response as if you are driving in sport mode all the time. The car revs up faster and the turbos come into boost quicker. Because the car is intercooled, the intake temperatures are the same compared to the stock box. With the cold air intake, we were able to pick up 0.1sec quicker 0-60mph. Dyno tests will reveal a gain of about 15ft per lbs of torque at the peak while horsepower gain is 10awhp at peak RPM. The cold air intake fits the 14-16 991 Turbo and Turbo S vehicles.
