These are Allen Edmonds Fairfax wholecut oxfords with brogue detailing and a medallion toe. "Wholecut" shoes have uppers that are made from one single piece of leather. They are considered to be the epitome of dress shoe design and craft. AE occasionally offers wholecut oxfords, often as a limited or "reserve" release. These were made in 2004 and 2005 only.
The soles have been upgraded with grippy Vibram sole protectors. There is some creasing across the toes.
