Carl Ruopoli Moonstone Art Deco Scandinavian mid century sterling silver brooch. Good used condition with little to no signs of normal wear. Great vintage patina present. Stamped Sterling and by C Ripooli on the beck. Stunning open work bezel set moonstones. This designer is known for his different lines during the 1920-1940s. This is from the Scandinavian lines he had produced. Stunning heavy sterling craftsmanship. Moonstones have lots of blue refractiveness to the tops that was hard to capture in photos.
Acid tests positive for sterling silver.
Brooch measures 1 and 3/8ths of an inch tall and 1 and 5/8ths of an inch wide.
