As Effie Calavaza (born 1928) is now in her 90s and rarely produces new work, her original vintage pieces—crafted with her signature "charming" snake motif—are highly coveted by collectors worldwide.
Passed down from her late husband, the snake motif represents "Reborn" in Zuni tradition. Here, the silver serpent protectively coils around two vibrant Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones. Despite their bold, sculptural presence, these earrings are famous for their smooth "skin-feel" and comfortable fit.
