This beautiful, designer (Elsa Peretti) retired in sterling silver Sevillana necklace. The Sevillana is an elliptical shape. Ellipses is “regular oval shape, traced by a point moving in a plane so that the sum of its distances from two other points (the foci) is constant, or resulting when a cone is cut by an oblique plane which does not intersect the base.”
I love this artsy piece. Peretti always designs with soft, feminine edges. It is different than other necklaces, but I promise it will attract people’s attention. Be ready! I have seen it worn on a chain, but I like silk cord best. This one is 16 inches.
