This is a DSA 1969 jungle fatigue jacket, a government-issued item used by the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Made of 100% cotton ripstop fabric, it features inside seams, a back yoke, four chest and bottom pockets with drain holes, and two-button adjustable cuffs.
