I believe this item is from around the 2000s. Made in Japan, STUDIO D'ARTISAN SD-103 rigid blue selvedge denim. It appears to have been worn a few times without being washed, still with the starch. The denim fabric is crisp due to the starch. Washing may cause some shrinkage and twisting. This is a reproduction denim based on the 1950s LEVI'S 501XX made with blue selvedge denim, but it has a playful design characteristic of STUDIO D'ARTISAN, making it more of a designer piece than a faithful reproduction. The condition is that the hem is cut off, and there is damage to the back hem from being stepped on by the heel, but otherwise, there are no particular areas of concern, and it is a beautiful item. It is a clean product, but it is a used item, so please purchase only if you understand this.
