For your consideration is a beautiful and rare modular Hanukkah Menorah set, reproduced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This set consists of nine individual miniature chairs, each featuring an intricate lattice-work back and a hollowed-out seat designed to hold oil or small candles.
One chair serves as the Shamash (helper candle), while the other eight represent the nights of Hanukkah. The Hebrew inscription "Ner Hanukkah" is embossed on the backrest of each chair. (Not kosher as all same height)
Excellent vintage condition with a rich, natural aged patina. I have not polished these to preserve the vintage character, but they should shine up beautifully if desired. No
