I soaked it in soda ash prior to dying and then fixed the colors in place after. I went with an ice dyed method to give the design some depth. Its length is 26.5" (highest point of shoulder where it meets the collar down to the bottom hem) and width is 21.5" (across underarm to underarm at chest).
