For your consideration is this set of nine miniature Prussian Military Bandsmen. Representing the Franco-Prussian War, these were home-casted utilizing tin molding kits made by Schildkröt Zinnbrigade of Germany during the late 1970s to early 1980s. The individual did an excellent job of applying paint to the figurines. Each of the bandsmen measure 44 millimeters, with some of the instruments adding height to the individual pieces. Each of them have an octagonal base that the maker painted beige. There is no maker's mark present on any of the pieces. The following pieces are included in this set: (1) Marching Ensign Flag Bearer (2) Marching Piccolo Piper (3) Marching Clarinet Bandsman (4) Marching Trumpet Bandsman (5) Marching French Horn Bandsman (6) Marching Tuba Bandsman (7) Marching Cymbals Bandsman (8) Marching Base Drum Bandsman (9) Marching Snare Drum Bandsman. Condition: Some paint flaking is observed. Items have been steam cleaned.
