Design inspired by falling snow
This piece is designed to evoke the scene of the first snowfall of the season. The waffle knit in the center of the body and sleeves represents thick clouds, while the uneven knit on the sides of the body depicts the fluttering snow. The cuffs feature the YASHIKI icon, the Yagasuri pattern (arrow feather pattern).

Soft fabric with a substantial thickness
The fabric used in this piece is knitted with a 10-gauge knitting machine using six strands of 40-count two-ply yarn. Normally, only two strands of yarn would be used when knitting with a 10-gauge machine and 40-count two-ply yarn, so this fabric uses three times the amount of yarn. This results in a high-density fabric that is not flimsy, but tightly packed. The ORANGE color uses a technique called plating, where different yarns are used for the front and back. The yarn on the back is faintly visible through the front stitches, giving the fabric a sense of depth.
